[XviD-devel] B-Frames

interlacing is still buggy remember, your stream won't be valid. i can't say when i can patch this in cvs, as my dsl order has been stalled again.

also, using interlacing together with bframes sounds questionable to me, as interlaced bframes have quite a bit attached to them, which i never got to begin coding. i've no idea how it's functioning at the moment. same deal with me-hints and bframes, unless someone patched this also? and if you used hints, but then switched between no b-frames and b-frames for the 2nd pass, the output should be terrible.

anyway, try again without interlacing or hints, see if it works.

Hmm.. Disabled "show decoded video", and it doesn't help on the crashes.. =(
Yeah, never used "packed bitstream" and not "DX50 compatability" either.

This is a crashdump from Pass 1 of 2.

Bframes = 3
Quant = h.263
Discard first pass
MMX, I-SSE, SSE, 3DNow!, 3DNow! 2

No lumi, greyscale, interlacing, ME hint
No pack, dx50

Is it ok for bframes to be enabled on the first pass?
