Hi !

As promised, here is VfwBench, the benchmarking tool. It's not perfect but it 
should be enough for basic benchmark. It compiles using VC++ 6. Feel free to 
customize it to your liking.

ps: I've benchmarked a sequence extracted from Lord of the Rings to get a 
better idea of Amp4 performance on high resolution / bitrate encoding, and 
surprisingly, it is not so bad :)

   AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1800+ (x86 Family 6 Model 6 Stepping 2) at 1535MHz
   Total physical memory 255Mo - Available physical memory 183Mo

  q  4 - size 20538 kb - encoding speed  53 fps - psnr 39.59,47.53,47.48 dB

 Benchmarking AMP4 PC Reference Codec
  q  4 - size 17834 kb - encoding speed  93 fps - psnr 38.87,46.56,46.54 dB
