this is quite a nice tool, thanks!

it would be nice if we could benchmark xvid vs. other codecs using the
mpeg-4 reference streams (on various cpus), to determine where our optmization
effort could be strengthen.


i ran a quick test a short high-motion scene using unstable xvid and
divx502. there is a significant quality/speed difference on my k6-2
machine (underclocked due to no fan and the summer heat).
