OF COURSE NOT. This was just a 'request' that this effect **may** happen!

Maybe it's important to know for other people around here if they also have
an image quality 'degeneration' in scenes without much action.

Finally, it is even possible to get different visual results between MMX and
Altivec decoders. In the mentioned scenario, one would interpret MMX decoded
result as good, while Altivec decoded result would be interpreted as 'bad'.
Just possible!
