And i'll add : are you sure your changes do not affect gcc 2.95.x and
gcc 3.[12].x builds ?

And to answer your question, you can't submit to CVS tree, make a patch
against current cvs (cvs diff -u) and we'll apply the resulting patch
(if nothing is wrong of course).
