Hi.

I just added another useful thingy for Hinted ME Search.

What it does is quite simple - it looks for smallest iFcode which can
be used for the given vector information. This is all done before
hinted search.

The gain is not big, but you know - it's a pure bit saving, as first
pass usually finds correct vectors (more or less). I'm going to
extend it to also _increase_ iFcode but I don't know how effective
it's going to be (especially without re-searching of intra
macroblocks).

My tests show that the code is able to decrease iFcode by 1 in 3-5% of
P frames, and it sometimes can decrease much more (ver rarely, but
happens). The gain in bigger for anime, where often every second frame
is still and iFcode of 1 is enough for it.

The code is commited to cvs (see? I tould you I'll make it ;-) )
