[XviD-devel] 758 guests and 7 members on xvid.org ??

Sorry guys,

i wanted to drop a mail to the xvid.org forums but it needed about 6 minutes
to load the 'new post' window ! Server seems to be completely overloaded, no
wonder with

758 guests       and
7 members      being online same time.

I'd love to see that there is such a huge interest in XviD, but what stunns
me is the fatc this number is almost constant over the whole day ? This is
not a real user behaviour, so without wanting to raise any rumours, i guess
somebody is overloading your server on purpose ??

A nice hint in this respect :

On www.corecodec.com ( postnuke ) the admin, Cyt0plas, has made a nice link
on the very bottom of the page, almost invisible to users, but very visible
to spam bots, named  'spam bots please click here' . The link would bring
you to another site with a warning message in big letters ( spam bots
fortunately cant read, nor understand whats said  ;-)  ) , and then if you
still click the next link your actual IP was banned, and only admin can
unban.

Maybe worth considering for xvid.org to get rid of some spam bots eating
your bandwidth ???
