ok, if we don't want binary stuff *sniff*, then let's do it "properly".

I hope everyone knows the debugview output the VFW generates.

Why not putting exactly that stuff into a file? Would be easy to do, and 
it's easily parsable.

(and - i got many user requests that this is helpful for them. I agree a 
bit since it would render debugview useless, at least for the users. )
