[XviD-devel] GMC/Segmentation/AdaptiveQuant

Hi,

after I commited sysKin ME into branch, I would like to concentrate on
three new "features" which could become parts of XVID in distant future: 

* Global Motion Compensation (because it's in Advanced Profile)
* Image Segmentation (because it could be useful for preprocessing, 
  e.g. piecewise smoothing) 
* Adaptive Quantization based on distorsion/real bits (because I don't
  like lumi masking)

To be honest, 2 and 3 also fit better then ME into my preparations for an
exam on image processing...

If any of you have experience or ideas for these (in particular 2 and 3) 
or are just interested in helping, please tell me!
