[XviD-devel] [PATCH] Not commited because of wrong results -- refdivx lumimasking code

Here is the patch against dev-api-4 tree:

This moves adapt_quant to each plugin as it should have been done. It
also adds support for the refdivx code, option -lumimasking2 in
xvid_encraw.

After some tests, i just noticed that:
 - At fixed quant: the average frame size gets bigger (noticeable
   change), the PSNR gets lower.
 - At  fixed bitrate:  the average  frame size  gets bigger  (very small
   amount), the PSNR gets lower.  The small frame size change was
   predictable as the RC keeps the average frame size near bitrate/fps.


And for all tests:
Overall slowdown of ~40%.

Does someone had success with this lumimasking code, am i missing
something ?
