hi,

your build configuration is presently configured to "Win32 Release _SMP",
and it require libpthread in order to compile. however, this
configuration is no longer maintained.

to solve this problem, set your build configuration to "Win32 Release" 
(got to the "Build" menu and select "Set active configuration").
