Yep that's something i dropped at the moment in order to obtain a
working building system but it will be handled in a future version very
soon.
The aims of the new build system are:
- no regressions (means all known working platforms will still build)
- one makefile to rule them all
- and in the darkness, the configure script forges its unique ring :-)
One more success at school today:
- Solaris with kernel 2.5.1 + solrais pmake + gcc 2.8.1 <-- try to find
an older compiler ;-) on an UltraSparc I station
Btw, does someone know why XviD refuses to link on MacOSX. The linker
outputs lot of errors related to multiples symbol definitions. Any
MacOSX tester ?
