no. its just an example/debug to demonstrate how xvid works.
2-pass (and therefore stats files) are only support by the vfw frontend
and gomz libxvidvbr (transcode).

2pass cannot be used to real-time encoding. the idea behind two pass is
to maximize quality for a target storage size (ie. ~600megabytes...).
