I don't rely on the  only build process, packagers (ports, ebuilds, .deb
or .rpm) can  also adapt software to their needs, i  provide a very very
thin build process that is  easily portable and not encumbered with that
automake/libtool/autoconf  trio that  imo  is not  that  good for  build
process.

Well, patches  are welcome, if you  don't make use of  automake which is
really what  i wanted to avoid  because it generates  Makefiles that are
not not compatible with the standard  make in BSD systems or the make in
solaris/SunOS.
