[XviD-devel] Seeking permission for another controlled interface

Hi,

I'm wondering if it would be possible to extend the permission to use
XviD over a controlled interface to "Datatypes" in addition to VFW1.1
and DShow?

Datatypes is an API in AmigaOS, developed by Commodore in the 80s and
90s. which identifies and decodes files (be it documents, video files,
audio files etc). The individual Datatypes are loaded by a (closed
source) system library which applications (closed source or open
source) can use to identify, decode and encode files.

There are also reimplementations of AmigaOS (and thus Datatypes) in
the form of AROS (open source) and MorphOS (closed source).

Obviously, the resulting Datatype itself would keep the GPL license +
extensions.
