No. I had a working version, but I didn't commit anything, yet, because it
contains changes  to encoder.c I wanted to have the main stuff stable
before adding new modifications.

Nothing has been decided on. I guess we can start collecting features for
xvid 2.0 then ;-)  I do have some ideas which would require main profile.
But first lets try to finish 1.0

you should check the theora mailing list. In the archive was a description
of special features (32x32 blocks, "golden frames").
