[XviD-devel] [RFC] resync markers in encoder

Hey,

I'm in  the way of adding  error resilience features to  the encoder for
completness of ASP features. The first  step is to add the resync marker
stuff.

I would like to know what you  think would be the better way in order to
add this  feature. Resync markers must  be added before MB  data, so far
so good, but the right question is not where, but when ? ;-)

When do you think the encoder should add resync markers ?
Should we add  a user setting to specify the number  of resync markers a
frame ?
