Hi,

at CeBIT, there was an interview of Heise online with Gej, results are
here:

http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/45860

It's german, and if you don't want to translate: XviD is mentioned twice,
once that DivX5.2 will contain some features XviD already has, like
custom quant matrices and several bframes.
Then, they say that contrary to XviD, DivX's Bframes will be set
dynamically, which is of course wrong, because XviD has always done
that. Again, DivX just copied the idea. I have already commented this to
have it corrected.
Then later, Gej mentions that developers at DXN see XviD not as
competition, but they are of course annoyed if users tell them, that XviD
does some things better than their codec does ;-)

The rest is about upcoming codecs, Gej's viewo of WMV, H.264, DXN's "Q",
for HD material, but nothing really new.

Michael, don't you want to contact Heise to give an interview yourself?
