[XviD-devel] MPEG-LA announces modified MPEG-4 license

Hello,

If MPEG-4 is covered by such patent portfolios does that mean if I 
distributed a compiled XviD package to my friends I would be breaking 
the law?

I did not realise MPEG-4 had such sw patent issues.
