[XviD-devel] xvidcore-1.0.2 rel, timer.c NOT fixed

Dear Developers,

Please fix this annoying bug(? or feature? :o) ) which exists since 
version 1.0.
On Mac OS X ranlib always complains about src/utils/timer.c not having 
any symbols therefore I cannot link the static lib to my app.
All the source is embraced with a #if defined(_PROFILING_) / #endif 
pair which results empty code in "normal" case.

Please put a dummy variable in the #else branch or remove timer.c from 
the non-debug source file list.
I always have to do it manually every time after downloading a new 
release.
