Long ago i started writing a doc, hoping for its completion, but the
fact is writing docs is not one of my strongs...

But at least, building the library using GNU tools is detailed, so you

For mingw, you can either install cygwin shell or the minsys package (i
prefer the later because you're sure you don't depend on cygwin stuff)
