[XviD-devel] illegal instruction

hi..

I have cross-compiled xvid library for a powewrpc platform..so the library uses altivec..but when I execute my program (the main is xvid_encraw.c)

gcc xvid_encraw.c -o xvid -lxvidcore -lm
cat video.pgm | xvid -type 1

i have this error: illegal instruction.
This is caused by altivec. If I disable altivec the program runs correctly but it isn't optimized..can some one give me an advice?
