[XviD-devel] Non-deterministic encoding

Set xvid_enc_frame_t->vop_flags, vol_flags, and motion all to zero, and set xvid_gbl_init_t->cpu_flags to XVID_CPU_FORCE. Still getting P-frames of differing sizes from identical images and quant values, usually starting over a hundred frames into the clip.
The machine is a single-core x86, and I've written a checksum function to ensure the input images are in fact identical each time.
The suggestions so far have been good, but no luck so far.
Regards,
mkwan

Hi,
Is XviD still non-deterministic with all optimizations
off?
Cheers
