[XviD-devel] Adaptive quantization help--variance masking

Hi again!

I'm looking at the code & that function doesn't have a
SIMD counterpart. Although, the user has to
explicitely request lumimasking.
How did you know that there is no difference between
the results of both XviD versions? Did you do a binary
comparision of the output?
Again, doesn't hurt using breakpoints to see if your
code is actually being used.
If you're using xvid_encraw sample, don't forget the
"-lumimasking" option.
