hi,
you need two tools: gunzip (or winzip), and patch.
the patch.exe binary should be inside your cvs/wincvs directory.
1. decompress the colorspace.diff.gz file, to colorspace.diff.
2. perform a dry-run patch, to see if theres any errors.
c:\xvid\xvidcore> c:\progra~1\wincvs\patch --dry-run <
c:\download\patch.diff
3. apply the patch.
c:\xvid\xvidcore> c:\progra~1\wincvs\patch --dry-run <
c:\download\patch.diff
hmm. i should've just zipped it up; since most people here are
windows users (myself included).
