[XviD-devel] gmc problem - who to blame? version 2.0

Hi.

I was worried about my gmc clips being differently decoded by your
xvids (ugly) and my xvids (nice). I played with it a lot and it
turned out that if I build in debug mode, I get different output
(ugly) than in release mode (ok).

I conclude that there is a bug, probably an access violation,
which makes both decoder and encoder work incorrectly. Such bug would
work differently depending on compiler.

I didn't check yet, but my debug build would probably also _en_code
correctly. Whatever the bug is, it must affect decoder and encoder in
the same way.

I'll investigate more.
