Just to say that i'm porting the ffmpeg fdct versions to xvid (mmx and xmm). Michael N did optimize them a bit more, and preliminary results for fdct_mmx seem to show a 100 cycles saving with a rolled loop, and 50 with an unrolled loop. Moreover the code looks much better as it's "macroized". -- Edouard Gomez
