Hi, old story, new reason: I had an inquiry if XviD supports plain 8bit-greyscale input, and for my amazement, I found out it still doesn't. It's of course just 2 lines to add this to the color space routines, just use YUV and set U and V to fixed 128, I can patch this in. But how about VfW, could somebody add an option for this? chl
